Gary, that shot is amazing. It could easily make for a good selling postcard.
Edward, you really make that ZM50 shine, those pictures have a kind of clarity to them like looking through a window.
I haven't shot or posted a picture in a while. 50LuxA
I swear I think Gary could shoot those majestic scenes with a mason jar lens and still show up most of us. Not taking away from your photography, but such photogenic sites are a marvel for most of us, we just don't get to shoot anything quit so dramatic. Yes, my Smokies are great. But they are not Denali. lol.
Thanks for the comments everyone! It is indeed great scenery but one must still be on watch for big grizzlies sneaking up on you from behind. It's easy to get caught up in the moment and forget about these sorts of things.... Rirakuma - let's do a "house swap" for a few weeks. That way I can visit some of my friends in Brissy!
Phil, wonderful afternoon capture! I will let you know if I sell the 50 Cron DR
Edward, great series from Bangkok! Superb shots with the ZM 85. I love the ZM 50 captures too.
Mitch, very nice!
Doug, really like the first one.
Jabber, excellent stuff. Love the first shot!
Gary, awesome mountain scape!! The colour and rendering is amazing.
Gary - Love the tones in that image
Charles - A very pretty image
jojmon11 - I am liking your wedding style a lot, especially the bride shots.
Edward - wonderful people images

Edward - great shots, I really like the old man shot.
Paul - Nice fall scenery!
Gary - another nice shot, great place to live BTW
Jabberwockt - A super collection, with lots of action!
Thank you everyone for the positive comments, and likes! More from Cyprus
Thanks Edward, it was Paphos. I went on a personal family get-together type holiday. I managed to get in a couple of side trips to do some photography, and it was a test/proving trip with the new M at the time. So these are my 1st shots with the camera. The 28-90mm is a nice single lens solution, and it is very good stopped down. I cannot accurately assess wide open performance on the M due to adapter issues. The same lens performs extremely well on my 5D3 wide open.

Gary, Griz would scare me too. Black bears here are bad enough to worry about. I could not imagine worrying about a 1200 pound grizzly bear!
Yep - grizzlies can be quite agressive at times. If you take precautions, everything is usually ok though. I have been bluff/charged twice and only soiled my shorts on one of those occasions....
Yikes, a bluff charge from a Griz 2 times? I think I'd be white headed.
Some people do say black bears can be just as mean, and maybe so. It's all about the particular bear, its temperament, and the environment.
We have very few bad encounters that result in injury or death with BBears here. But it has happened.
I have not encountered one on the trail, but I have friends that have I am sure. I have come very close to crossing paths with 2 sets of bears at least. 1 was actually a Mother and cubs, and they were watching me come to find out. I had no idea I was being watched at the time. I Was shooting rocks and water streaming down from this area. They were up the hill, and I Was actually just considering going up that way, when someone came by and told me about them watching me. How he knew this, I do not know. But he saw them up there somehow. Another time, I just missed them on a trail, I could see one off nearby.
My closest encounters have been in Cades Cove mostly. they are found there quite frequently.
After a blockbuster trade, as of today I am now a proud owner of Noctilux 0.95
I feel lucky to be in possession of such marvelous piece of optical engineering.
Just a couple of shots earlier this evening @ 0.95:
Allen, Once more a strong street set with attractive geometric patterns. 2 and 3 are my favorites.
Jawad, nice rendering with the Noctilux. Congratulations for the new acquisition.
A couple from Saturday's dinner with the Biogon 35 wide open at iso 2500. I barely got shutter speeds around 1/15s.
Edward, great photos from the demonstration and also two nice portraits.
jamgolf, nice photos.
Allen, very good set. #2 is my favorite.
Andrew, looks like a great vacation. I like the colors in the photos from Cyprus.
