Andrew, like your set!
deang001, nice collection! What's the place? Is it somewhere in China?
Edward, I like the last one (stone head) , just gorgeous !
Andrew Gough, fabulous shots from the bird market. I know it well.
Dean, really nice series too. Still struggling with my illness so haven't been keeping up here. Must try harder, as my teachers used to say.
... and back here again (not so impressive picture, but I'm excited and have not had any time to go out and shoot yet)
Leica X1, Elmarit 24 @ 2.8
Different but yet same-same as the M8 I had before. Love the controls on the top, and button layout is actually better than the M. Miss the viewfinder a bit, as well as the panzar wagon feeling, but love the compactness. Too early to say anything about IQ, but from the little I've seen so far the lens is really impressive, great colors. To be continued.

Andrew H, I hope that heal quickly, and that you can get back to life's pleasures!
Edward, your Thailand shots are great!
Bruno, that looks like Oxford St, nice capture!
Marcsery, I had the old mans permission to take his photo's. To me, his images show a life of hard work... Something, I feel worth presenting. Perhaps I should have titled the image.
For the trip, I was not be able to go to some places as planned, traveling with two kids is a lot challenging than I thought.
I mainly visit family over there and traveling around close by. Luckily, the cities of our parents living are two of most beautiful cities/area in China. As a ‘better’ photographer this time (compare to myself 3 years ago), I can find more interesting stuffs to shoot even without go to exotic place.
I bring my M9, 21 biogon, 35cron V1, 50cron Rigid, 50lux, 90Elmarit and Nex7 with kit lens and M adaptor. 21 and 90 got very minimal use. Either 50cron/lux or 35cron were stay on M9 with 70% on 50cron, and 50lux was used indoor. I have found when traveling with family, changing lens in field is out of question. No way I can slowly decide which focal length to use and change and setup without feel pressure to having them around.(one or two times might be OK, but it start becoming so annoy that I just give up) Especially with two little ones. So I will suggest you simplify your kit as simple as possible if you are in the same situation as I am. Even without kids, but traveling with a group of non-photographer, you better bring a zoom or accept as a prime shooter. I mean truly “prime”.
After the trip, I feel I only need 35 and 50. I kick myself I didn’t get 90cron ASPH before the trip. (B&H has one for a while for $2800, at least twice in past two month), but after the trip, I feel it is not justified. 90mm is OK sometime, but frame accuracy at long distance is very suck for RF at 90, it requires some reshooting to get what you want. I think just need another M9, one with 35 and the other with 50 and I am done NEX7 with kit lens is very handy; it is small and light and can get the job done. This will be my setup for a while: M9 with fixed 35 or 50 and NEX with a zoom. No, the performance is no way near Leica prime stop down, but I get the pictures instead. I give the NEX7 to my father after the trip as he loves it so much and I like him to have it as I feel it is really suit his need better. I will either get another one or a NEX-6 soon. During the trip, I almost never do adapted lens to NEX for the same reason given: I don’t have the time and can’t lose the flexibility of kit zoom lens.
Starting from SFO will slowly post more with time:
35cron
Deang, thank you For the wedding there were two other pro photographers, and it allowed me just capture some of the more informal shots. Very nice set of shots! The M8 at low ISO's really shines.

Edward, very nice evening captures! Best time for shooting
Bruno, love those late afternoon shots
Jonas, nice abstract composition.
Luka, excellent shots! Love the design and composition
Michael, thank you Really nice series!!! Shot #4, I had to do a double take, as I thought at first it was a test image Love those first three shots.
Another shot from the weekend of my Brazilian GF with the M-M 50 Nocti f/1.0 @ 1.0
