This is the first time I post something on this thread but I have been following it way before I got my Leicas. So a couple of months ago I just decided to sell my two Canon 1D Mark IV and bought a M9 and a used M8, with 5 Zeiss lenses (so far). I'm still getting used to rangefinders but anyway...I took ths one this afternoon, while I was trying out the Zeiss 35mm 2.8. The light just became special by the end of the day.

Congrats and welcome Mauri! Nice shot. I agree with Boris, do include the fence in the foreground, but make it part of the composition, maybe a diagonal When in doubt move in closer.
Very nice Boris! On the Berlin thread you did some images with a 24mm, I think. Which one is it?
Nice feel to that one Charles, forcing some character out of this 'controversial' lens
Welcome Jonas and Mauricio. Interesting story about switching from Canon to Leica. I still have my IV and IIIs since a portion of my paid work still requires them, but otherwise over the past year since I added the M9, they've gotten a lot less use.
Detail of the 'ehemalige Führerbau' (more info), now a music school. M9 & 50 Lux ASPH, SOOC
Thanks Boris. What is your opinion of this lens? As good as Leica claims, that stopping it down does not increase sharpness, just depth of field? Whatever the case, your images look great.
Edwin, I think I prefer #3 and 4. And of the first two, I prefer the second, but feel they're missing something for my tastes, and are quite dark in the areas where there is some geometric interest.
Surprised I was able to shoot this at 1/15 th sitting on my bike on my way back from school ... Sweden really is a terrible place to be at right now, cold as shit and darker than you could possibly imagine. Luckily I have a M8 that manages to make noise free images at ... hm, oh wait, forget about that
