Luka, thank you very much for the cc, its very much appreciated. I'm learning a lot from this thread i have been attempting to shoot portraits of my kids in a non traditional way...trying to achieve a street shot portrait looking, i dont really know how to handle it yet coz i dont really have a clear picture in my mind of the exact image that i really want. Sometimes it works and many times like you said it ends up like regular snap shots. More tips would be appreciated.
Shtarka, yup they'mine thanks...your first shot looks great, it can be a billboard ad for something but the middle finger
Edwin and Luka, thanks
Edwin, nice shots of your kids
Ajay, congrats on the brilliant 24 Lux Nice shots! I have an opportunity to pick up a 24 Lux, so great to see some sample shots
Steve, very nice shots with the 75 Lux!
Lovely shots all. Been busy with work but managed to find time to take pics mostly very early before work and some stolen hours in the weekend.
A new series I have in mind called These Walls and the suggestion of what lies behind the walls relative to the person in front of it. Anyways, it's an experiment. All shots with the 35 Lux ASPH v1 mostly at f8.
This makeshift wall ::: A more fashionable you, coming soon
This temple wall ::: It's good for you, boy
This advertising wall ::: We should check it out
This stadium wall ::: Tip-top shape inside because of Chris, the supervisor
This stadium wall 2 ::: Always good to get off your bum

That's the lens I thought I'd use the least but now use the most.
I thought i had found the perfect wide angles with the 21 and 24 lux--but for some reason which i cannot put a finger on the 28 asph cron does it for me... The 24 lux of course is an awesome lens.
With the 28 i think its a combination of the superb iq, the 28mm focal length, size, and built in support in the viewfinder.
Steve, like that "finger to the world" picture
Charles - Interesting pictures, not what I am used to seeing from you. The Lux 24 is a very interesting lens. I shoot without an external view finder. The built-in VF FOV is ~ 25mm. It is not that difficult.
LL, KL wonderful images.. Did any of you shoot any of these lenses on Velvia ?
Does any one here shoot by using the distance scale ? It works okay at smallish apertures, wondering if any one has tips while working at large apertures.
