Charles, meant to comment on the beach scene - the 75 Lux is great for getting the man to pop from the background.
Luka... come now, what's not to like about a fast 35mm lens that is all around very nice and only about 1/4 the price of a 35 Lux? Cool image! Looking forward to more.
...the cv35/1.2 II surely is not a replacement of the 35lux ashp II, but does come very close...but if one of you guys would part with their 35lux asph II at retail price i will not have second thoughts of replacing my 35 nokton II with it
Second post in this thread! I've had my m8 for almost a month now and I'm really starting to adjust to the change. I'm waiting on a CV 35/1.2 II to come in and then I'll be completely rangefinder obsessed. Most of these are shot with the Zeiss 25/2.8 but a few are taken with my Juniper-8
Steve, that's an excellent B&W shot. Perfectly captured emotion and expressions! I like it a lot.
Charles, really like your beach series, the mood and tones are beautiful as I have mentioned in the past. The Bangkok street shots are also excellent, I especially like the first one.

Being a gear forum, I think I may have gotten more comments to my pics if I shot wide open or use the latest and greatest lens such as the CV 35/1.2

Charles, another nice set of shots.. Is your keeper rate 100% ?!
Brody, welcome to the thread.
Ron, nice set again.
Joe, In spite of this being a gear thread, this thread (and the Zeiss thread) has some amazing shots such as yours. However, I doubt if it has anything do with the gear (in spite of folks like me who think its the gear) :P
Yes, of course those image by Joe are excellent, but they're just with the 35 Lux and not the latest and greatest CV 35 'Lux'
Love WTD...
Steve - great capture!
Charles, very nice portraits, especially the B&Ws, and really love the two beach scenes in the second set a lot. The muted, cool colours are great with the low light.
Brody, great set and particularly like the night street scenes and the one with the smoke. But I think you meant Jupiter rather than Juniper
Welcome to the thread Scott!
Ron, great set! I really like all shots so it's difficult to pick a favorite. I also like the almost metalic look of the concrete in several of the shots.

I don't often do portraits, but here's one I'm happy with. Taken in a medieval church on the island of Mljet where there was some awesome light coming from a window in the ceiling. I told my friend to sit down on a stone bench in the light and he without prompting from me struck a pose. So I got the idea to go for an early Baroque oil painting look (i.e Caravaggio or similar) and I'm pleased with how it turned out:
