Thanks Charles. I have some problems with the lens hood of the 35 Lux. It is very loose and often turns itself just by taking the camera out of the bag (resulting in dark corners). The similar lens hood of the 24 Elmar has a much firmer fit. I will probably send the lens to Solm again (first time was together with the M9 for focus adjustment). Charles, how loose/firm is the fit of the lens hood of your Summilux 35?

I received my new lens the other day - SX 50 ASPH FLE (thanks Joe ), and WOW is all I can say. Undoubtedly the best 50mm I have ever laid my hands on..
Today was my first day out shooting with the 50 lux - some random shots.

Changed 1Ds2 + ZE 21, 35 and 100 to M8.2, ZM 18 and Summicron 35 ASPH. Still getting used to it, but here are couple of shots from Saturday, first time in "real" use.
