Was that because of the VAT (Value Added Tax)? For luxury items and/or ones involving a lot of engineering - cameras and lenses hit both - the VAT can sometimes be 1/3 the price. In most countries, you can obtain a voucher for a refund from the point of sale, and you can redeem that for cash from Customs at the airtport, in the foreign country ***before you leave the main terminal area/enter security***.

One snap at .95 and I was able to get it. I was able to find her on the RF patch fast enough to track and line it up. I wish it was all skill 😀. Little luck involved as well. Very much enjoying the Noctilux as my 50 Lux is off to Leica for service.

These two Toms were knocking on our back door this afternoon. I shot this with a unscientific wild guess of the focus distance with my arm fully extended so they wouldn't see me and spook away.
M10R + 50mm Summilux ASPH BC @ f/2.8 250th ISO 100
