Did you go to India with a workshop or other group, or are you on your own. I am strongly considering going to India for a couple of weeks towards the end of January, or beginning of February as my get away from Winter cold break this year. I am not used to this European Winter cold. I have always been a So Cal or tropical guy...

Hi, I'm not a workshop or group kind of guy.
India is of course huge and the weather varies dependent on location. February is my favourite time of year in Rajasthan and Varanasi, generally mild, neither too cold nor too hot, but certainly not tropical. Be aware it is also the favourite time for many others and gets booked up many months in advance.
The "Camera di San Paolo" is home to some amazing frescos by Antonio da Correggio done in the mid 1500s. This woman is the entrance host. Here if you have disabilities all the galleries and museums are free for you and a companion. Italy does a wonderful job of caring for people.
This woman is the biglietteria manager of this small museum. She made an incredible effort to make sure I had an iuncredible experience wandering around this almost 500 year old building.
I loved her look which felt so right and authentic for the venue and the job so I asked if I could make her a portrait as thanks. She was charmingly shy during the whole process. But for me, I love the results.
While out wandering the town I noticed that Little Red Riding Hood has grown up a bit and developed some habits along the way. She and the Big Bad Wolf seem to have reconciled. I caught them sharing smokes and an "aperitivo" on a sunny but cold afternoon.

He looks like Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) switched to the dark side
