When I was down in Bologna on Thursday it was raining heavily. So I borrowed an SL3-S and the new SL 28-75 Zoom to go out and shoot at lunch break from the M11-EV1 trial. This was the first time I shot a walk around zoom on an SL3 variant. It was a convenient setup. Maybe made me a bit lazy. But it was impervious to the weather.
Every fall, the most intense chili cook-off takes place. This year, we had some new entries, such as aligator chili; who surprisingly took second place.
This was my first time shooting with my newly acquired 28mm lens. What a beautiful new way to look at the world.

My Wife and I took a short drive out to our local hills and had pizza in a small village. Amazing pizza and the Fall colors were just incredible. I live in a painting here in Italy. A great way to spend an afternoon.
