It has been raining a bit these last few days. So, I have been shooting with the SL3. It doesn't care about the weather, one of the reasons I bought it when relocating o Europe. The gloomy weather also put me in a B&W mood.
I was invited to an event to preview and learn about a community project to restore the old Hospital here in Parma. Amazingly, it was built in 1204 I think. They are doing an incredible job. The site was full of people and construction stuff. But the walls a ceiling are finished so I focused on abstract details of these areas for my photography. There is a small flock of pigeons living in the main dome and I managed to get one in flight. Rain again today so I had the SL3 and various APO-SL lenses to work with. Besides some cropping and normal Lightroom edits these are pretty much straight out of camera. The SL3 does such a great job with color, texture, and detail.
