A woman wearing a beautiful filigree veil in deep contemplation at the Duomo down the street from my house. This is not the main alter but one of the many small ones off to the side. Each one seemingly more ornate than the others.
Sunday afternoon my Wife and I drove up to a small town in the mountains that separate Parm from the coast. There is a restaurant there that makes one of our favorite steak dinners with truffles. It is past season so the town was very quiet. Parma is a very tranquil City, but this Mountain town takes that down to an even lower level. Even the animals are chill. Because this was a "Wife Date" I only broughty my little D-Lux 8. That is a fun camera that is perfect for such situations and produces excellent images that have that Leica flavor to them.

There is rarely traffic jams here in Parma, but the small twisty streets and Italian zesty driving style still make driving interesting at times. This guy was careening through the streets with that zest yesterday.
Parma is the food capital of Italy. This evening they shut down the entire center of town and serve a 4 course Gourmet dinner to 1,000 people. Since the table goes right past our front door and we were invited with free tickets my Wife and I are taking part with a group of friends. There is a chance of thunder storms this evening however. It should make for some interesting photography.
