The tunnel of trees is an "iconic" location at Point Reyes National Sea Shore. They are Monterey cypress trees. Point Reyes is part the National Park system and is about 90 minutes or so from San Francisco. The park is very unique with a beautiful coastline, lighthouse, sea stacks, and diverse wildlife population. I am here for the wildlife photography... in fact just spent two hours photographing a single coyote that was just hanging out. I bring my M10 now whenever I'm out shooting in the field, as it is easy to do some quick shooting when I see something interesting.
The church was photographed on during my drive to Point Reyes. I can't recall the town's name, but it is a tiny town just before you hit PR.
