My dog walked over there and I took a few bad pics. I was dying out there. I couldn’t let it go and went back. Focused then lowered the camera down low and shot a couple shots. Then said sorry to my dog and made her leave lol

There was a fire scare today in my community in San Clemente, CA. It's being called the "Pico Fire" since it started near Avenida Pico, about 2 or 3 miles from my house. The winds were gusting, and the humidity was extremely low at just 5%. The fire burned around 1 or 2 acres and was getting dangerously close to homes and businesses. I took a walk from my house to the site and snapped this picture. I spoke to a firefighter on the scene (the lady in the middle in the image), and she told me the fire was 100% contained, which was a huge relief.
Coming this weekend they say. Then starts the mudslides. The geologic history shows this is normal and expected. The problem is we are now building homes where this is normal and expected.
