Wow that lens has some serious Chromatic aberrations and bubble Bokeh going on. Still the rendering on your Daughter is beautiful. Lots of character in that lens. I bet it is just amazing on a Monochrome camera.
New Year's Day 2025 along the Boardwalk here in San Diego was a mixture of clear skies above and Ocean haze down low. This always adds unique color tones and textures to images. This images reminds us to count our personal blessings, and to be resolute caring for others during the new year. I know this man as he is a regular here. In that brown case is a trumpet which he keeps polished and immaculate. He plays it beautifully. Beyond that I know nothing of his life story.
We just spent two days with our grandson as his parents gave birth to his brother, our fourth grandson. Some of those pics to follow but here's just a happy boy riding his new truck ($20 on clearance at Costco). We had a great time but now we're exhausted!

hanging out with the drag queens on New Year's Eve in Key West. We were in the fenced off VIP section next to the stage which was great for snapping pics of both the performers and the adoring crowd that was packed shoulder to shoulder for a few blocks on either side of the stage.
