I had to go down to the County Assessors Office today to get historical records on one of our properties. Down by the bay front I found this gentleman feeding some pigeons. I waited for the birds to fly, but no luck. Still I liked this shot.
You can guess which camera I had in my pocket. How did Leica make such a nice rendering and sharp little Zoom for this camera. I guess that is why they didn't change it.

Just wanting to share something with everyone and some may already use one or have tried it.
Since the start of the digital photo age I have not printed much at all up until a couple of years ago when I started sending my B&W shots I wanted to display to Printique in NY for 11x14 prints.
Recently I wanted to share photo's (hard copy) with family and friends from gatherings, birthdays and such but didn't want to deal with the Walmart and Walgreens services and decided to look for a small printer that would do the job that would allow me to print when I wanted them.
I ended up getting a Canon Selphy (what a name) CP1500 photo printer to tackle that task and very impressed with the quality of the prints. Granted the largest it prints are 4x6 which is perfect for sharing.
It's not an ink jet, but uses Dye Sublimation / Thermal Transfer in 4 passes with each color (yellow, cyan, magenta and the last being a clear coat).
Plug it into your computer or use the app from a phone, plug in an SD card, even runs off a battery that you can purchase and print remotely.
The paper comes with 108 sheets and 3 print cartridges to cover all the images and it does color and monochrome well (in my old eyes at least).
I'm happy with the purchase and family really likes getting an image they can hold in hand right after taking the shot..

I still use and have my Canon Pro 9000II and 95000II printers! I rarely use them. The ink usually dries up before I print again!
But a quick 4x5 printer would be great!
