A wicked storm just passed through and then the sun came out on the horizon. The lighting was incredible. A good test for the D-Lux 8. I think it passed the test. The sunstar was a pleasant surprise.

He is another portrait to keep you interested. This one in Black and White, with sort of a high key feel. Strongly backlit with a light touch of fill from the little D-Lux 8 flash. No issues with resolution, or noise.

I’m not going to ask what you had to buy to get that shot. But you better not be wearing a blonde wig next time I see you.

Beautiful! Any chance you have the kolor versions of these?
Thank you very much - very appreciated!
Here are the color versions. The Prunn castle dates back to the year 1200. Historians found a transcription of the Nibelungen saga inside, called "codex manesse".

As it has mine "Des"!
The SL3 just was too much for me with everything I needed to shoot. Buyer's remorse but I just couldnt justify it for me.
This is way more manageable and takes a fantastic image! But I need IBIS! I have tremors!

It will at least be a very fun camera, and a good introduction to the current Leica shooting experience. Just manage the limitations of the micro 4/3 sensor and the image quality is fine.

I have an APS-C (for comparison sensor size)camera Steve and it is very good! Yes I love FF but I do not let it limit my photography!
The images I see here are excellent even in low light and low shutter speeds. The tremors concern me and YES I have called the only doctor around for an appointment!
Thanks!
