This is interesting topic so I checked mine, slightly weaker on the right edge and corners when I pixel peep, doesn't seem to affect in real world scenario. I can live with that cause I had 35mm summicron asph that also had weak left edge/corner (even if it's serviced by Leica before I got it). Seems not uncommon. My Q2 also give uneven edge/corner performances (wide open) from time to time but I suspect it's due to OIS.
I played the game back in FE34/1.4 ZA and my experience tells me each lens will render slightly different apart from centering issue - my 2nd copy performed so good across the frame only to find the color and contrast is different enough that my first copy looked "Zeiss" and my 2nd copy looked "Sony" (that also has a misaligned aperture marking lol). I've also had two different instances of two identical fixed lens camera render differently, another GM zoom that has different sharpness performance between 2 copies. I may be tempted to try another copy for the Thypoch but as far as general rendering and performance go, it's as good as I needed. Same goes for the 35 summicron asph, it rendered and behaved well so I learned to get over it and enjoy life.
Not to say your expectations were unrealistic, but 40mp sensor will inevitably amplify the weaknesses, part of the reason I stayed with 18mp~24mp cameras.

This lens could be such a good value. I’ve seen some good results of this lens so gave it a try. The first copy was razor sharp in the center (sharper than my Ultron), but just outside the center looked like mush. I tried another copy and it was so badly decentered it was unusable. I’m not trying anymore, I’ll just watch

You’re right, when viewing on a screen or not zoomed in you couldn’t tell, the problem is I saw it and it would be in the back of my mind every time I shot with it. From examples I’ve seen of good copies out there this lens is a fantastic value
The character of the Thypoch is showing through even viewing on my smartphone. On your M10R something about the thypoch that gives rich tonality and makes the image pop, compared to the CV in the same post. Had a 28cron V1 that I sold eventually as it seems to produce rather boring frames after a while, even if the performances were objectively good.
