While driving along the Beaufort, NC. shoreline we were very lucky to see 5 of the 30 wild horses that roam free on Carrot Island here on the Crystal Coast.. You can visit the island, but must not get closer than 50' to any of them.
These are not great shots, but I only had the M10 and 35mm lens attached that I set to infinity held up and fired off these shots..
Lovely shoreline-area images! Your area is so much prettier, in general, than our SE Texas area. The northwestern Gulf of Mexico area is not exactly a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the local people care less about keeping things nice.
I was in little Italy today. Met my Wife for lunch. There was a family selling puppies from a box. This was the last one to be sold. She had a look about her in the way she stared at you with one eye. I think this is the reason she was last. looked like trouble to me....
