Thought I'd share the results of a little DIY project making my M11's red dot black...
This was actually rather simple, and the hardest part was practicing patience while removing the red paint, as well as making sure that the multiple coats or primer were good.
Results are quite nice I think. The project was delayed quite long since I didn't want to start this without a new red dot in case it all went bad.
I had ordered a new replacement red dot in July last year, which only arrived towards the end of December.

An old turquoise and red wagon deep inside an old barn. I really loved the quality of light coming in through the large open door to the barn, but there was not a lot of it. I ended up at ISO 3200 to get the needed exposure. Still, there was no need for ant noise reduction in post. The M10-P handles noise so well. I still can't get motivated to sell my copy.
