A couple of geewiz shots that some may find interesting.. These were taken with my phone from the tablet screen I control it all with..
We finally have some clear sky's to get the telescope I posted a few pages back setup and focused in and here are a couple of test images..
The first image is a 2 min. exposure of the California Nebula @ 1304 light years from earth. Yes you California folks have a Nebula. Using an optimized dual-band filter significantly blocking light pollution (I'm in a bortle 4 sky)while allowing up to 90% transmission of H-Alpha, H-Beta and Oxygen III emission lines.
Second image is a 1 min. exposure of The Andromeda Galaxy @ 2.5 million light years from earth. Used an IR/Cut filter for this object.
I would take a total of 75-125 images and stack them together, then process them in photoshop, but this time I'm going to try Pixinsite dedicated software for this type of work. The final images will have the noise and some stars removed..
Used free ZWO ASI Studio software (the company that makes my cameras, computer, filter wheel and focuser I use for this) to stack the images I took last night. Does not offer a great deal of options for processing, but it does get an ok image.

Honestly man- I don’t think there is anything that 35 APO isn’t incredible at- It’s probably the perfect lens- Also the size of it - man its just perfect.

Some views from Chengde' , PRC
Chengde' is a "Resort" built by, and for the Emperor @1700 AD. It's a couple hundred miles northeast of Beijing in the Mountains. It was used as a Summer getaway to cool off and and do some hunting. It's the Largest Imperial Garden in the world.These are some of the views from the perimeter of the park. The City itself has over a million people. There's some very interesting geological formations here too. Anyways...That's what you're looking at.

My wife had some Family matters to attend to in Tianjin then we took off for a couple side trips. I've traveled all through China over the years and had never even heard of this place. But that's how China is, hidden gems everywhere. Not to mention the wonderful, and still curious people...Yeah, it was really amazing

Shot this image while going to one of my favorite Thai Restaurants for lunch today. The mural on this bookstore always makes an interesting background. When I saw this guy coming down the sidewalk smiling I thought it would be an interesting image. This guy was walking very fast and confidently which was amazing to me. Full respect to him.
