Yesterday Huss (Desmolicious) and I attended the 10th Anniversary Party for the Leica Store Los Angeles. I was surprised to learn that this is Leicas number one store in the World for sales.
First, let me say what an absolutely wonderfully person Huss is to spend time with. He is every bit as interesting, and gentlemanly in person as his images and contributions here on FM are.
The event was very well attended. A fascinating group of people across a broad spectrum attended. Huss and I met and had enjoyable conversations with many of them.

Huss let me down and didn't prevent me from dropping a bunch of cash on a new lens. This shot of us taking images of each other is my first image with the my new 21mm Super-Elmar ASP lens
We had a wonderful conversation with this sculpture artist from the L.A. area.
I saw this man standing next on of the images on exhibition. The association between them struck me. He kindly let me take an image. He let me
Steve, you are too kind. What a fun evening! Of course I had to spoil it by smuggling in a Fuji P&S camera.
If anyone is wondering, Steve is only 5"8. I happen to be 5".
