The older guy was a photographer in the 80s who used to shoot film Leicas. We had a nice chat. I asked if he had any glass left but sadly he sold it years ago. He was thrilled to have his photo taken.
I used to shoot a lot of events, and it might be starting up again. Finally got the Q2M out to a show. Spectator seats (4th row), but got some I was happy with. MF was the way to go to get the keepers and it worked well for this application.
Tomorrow have been asked by one of my partners to shoot some social media shots of his girlfriend. I plan on shooting primarily with my Sony and strobes. I went over to the house to gat an idea what I am working with environment wise. As the girlfriend was on the way out the door going to the gym, I snapped this one shot with the M11 just for fun.
I have no idea what I am doing with this kind of photography. How do I let myself get talked int0 these things.
