Just to show off how great this lens is against flare. The sun was just outside frame, and only the vestigial standard lens hood was used. That hood is so tiny, you wouldn't even know it was a hood! And to make things worse, a B+W UV filter was also used.

One of the reasons I picked the Rollei is its standard (39mm) filter thread, unlike most (if not all?) of the other 40's that I considered.
