Labor Day in San Diego had spectacular weather this year. So, my Wife and I decided to go down to Coronado Island and do some paddle boarding then have lunch at the wonderful Hotel Del Coronado. She never lets me take her picture. But today I ordered her a big fruity globe of cooperation. She caught me snapping a quick one and gave me just a small "look" of disapproval. I was OK with that. Luckily I am getting a bit faster with manual focus these days. Making pictures of my Wife is probably only second in difficulty to getting a clear image of Bigfoot....
Lots of other nice images walking around the grounds. I will post some over then couple of days.

I miss San Diego! I wish we never sold our house in Point Loma.
One of the beach showers along the Del Coronado Hotel boardwalk. So many amenities and eating variety on this boardwalk along with the best beach chairs I have seen in So Cal. They are all owned by the Hotel (which is now a Hilton) but they have done a great job giving each a unique personality, and menu. It reminds me of the vibe one gets at a high end private beach in the Mediterranean.
Electric bikes are definitely a "thing" these days.
Nice Rusty. I have played around a bit with this concept myself recently. Although trying to use different characters in each position. Waiting for the World all to randomly come together has not proved fruitful. This is one way to deal with that.
Still learning how to photograph streets and people... very different from bears and bird!
The CL seems to be a good fit for this type of photography.

The dog is often the more civilized of the two. The dog is almost always the more interesting of the two.

I am not claiming expertise in photographing dogs as they walk their people. I do spend much time being walked by dogs, and, sometimes, being in charge as a civilized dog walks alongside me.
