Had to take it out to the pier on a test run. So far I'm loving it and didn't know how I would like the ISO dial, but wow it's a game changer. Also the 2 position on/off switch is a welcome change from the 240's 4 position one. Before getting it I didn't think I would notice the 4mm thinner design, but I can feel it and like it.
The only down side is the battery life compared to the 240s last all week battery.
I struck up a conversation with this gentleman fishing and asked if I could take his picture. That is way outside my comfort zone, but sometimes it pays off. Also asked for his email Addy and sent it to him.

I wanted a black M11 but found an amazing deal on a Silver one so I bought it. I am not a flashy person so I put the Obsidian black Alphagvrd on the silver parts. I kept the original Leica leather grip, and left the dials and Thumbs Up silver. In the end it has a very nice nice unique look, the camera is well protected, and very comfortable to hold and shoot with.
Another of my impromptu portraits on the Boardwalk. This woman had a very unique look about her. She had a newborn infant in the chest pack. I love that new Mother glow women get. This one has it big time.
I was setup and focused on the gull sitting on the poll waiting for him to launch when these 2 other gulls came into view from the right photo bombing and just snapped the shutter to capture the second image.

This is a stunningly good image! I am not qualified to critique art, so do not know what I do not know, but this is wonderful. (Yes, diagonal lines and such, but I have trouble expressing more detail than that.) So very much human dignity, perfectly framed and captured, in his environment.
I don't think I have ever produced anything that would be considered art, but more of the fun of just making images the best I can that I like with a lot of head room for improvement.
Everyone in this thread posts some amazing images that leaves me always striving to do better and I thank you all for that little push.

You are doing better, progressively, over time. Your “style” has evolved, in a positive direction.

Happy to Gary. Here are front and back pictures I quickly took this morning. No time to dust it off or do anything artistic. This is the way it goes out with me everyday, wherever I go.
Pretty much all black but the dials, text, and thumbs Up. The kit does have a cover for the Red Logo dot, but I haven't decided to put that on yet. All of the original finishes stay untouched and protected. Less than $200 total for all of the accessories you see in the picture. Very comfortable and soft to hold and shoot because except for shutter and thumb I really don't touch any metal directly.
The kit was very easy to apply.
I think I remember seeing an M camera from Leica with a similar theme as a special edition once.
