The smoke cloud across Bogue Sound from Emerald Isle started out as a control burn and is now an out of control burn. At the time of this image today they had zero containment of the fire. When I pulled up I noticed this guy watching it and had to add him to the image.

Second image is from the high rise bridge at the south end of the island.

Driving home from a late meeting Thursday evening I saw this scene in Mission Bay. I pulled over to the side of the road, switched lenses, and shot this image right from the drivers seat. It is good to always have your Leica with you and ready to grab a quick image.
