Thank you.. I think the worse has passed us with only a little flicker of the lights and a lot of rain, but the people in Florida were not so lucky. I have a buddy that lives in Tampa Bay who posted some video's on twitter that showed massive destruction. It looks to be over Charleston, SC. now and hope they come out well...

My grandkids are inland from Charleston. They report lots of rain and wind and the worst of the storm has not hit them yet. Fortunately they are not in an area prone to flooding.

In contrast, out here on the West Coast the pacific Ocean has been more calm that usual. This image is from my stroll around Children's Pool yesterday afternoon. This woman in the vintage looking red dress and hat captured my attention as she dipped her toes in the water, while her children played at the waters edge. For some reason I am drawn to red in my images like a trout to a lure. I took a number of images of her.
