Inside one of the wonderful little buildings in the Japanese Garden was this vignette of a flower arrangement. I have always enjoyed the esthetics of this type of flower arrangement.
Because of the lighting that day, this is one of the few color images I made.

Lovely image! The vase blends so well with the wall too!
This one was taken in one of the museum houses. This set of wooden double doors led out to a nice rock garden area. In the spirit of full disclosure, The gentleman in this image went up to the doors and found that they were locked. Then as a joke he went into the I am trapped gesture for the benifit of his friends. Of course they all laughed. I asked him not to move while I composed and shot a picture. He obliged. So, while not fully candid, it is not fully arranged either. In any case i like it.
The Big Rock Blue Marlin Fishing Tournament is here on the Crystal Coast with many of the teams docked here in Beaufort, NC.
Michael Jordan of basketball fame is fishing it again off of a boat named Catch 23. They caught 2 blue marlin's today, but they weighted in below 400lbs and had to be released.
