- Last summer I brought my M6 and Collapsible Summicron, along with a bunch of Kodak Tmax 400 for a four week trip to the Arctic aboard the light icebreaker CCGS Sir Wilfrid Laurier. We left Victoria, BC early July and ended in Kugluktuk, Nunavut in early August. I'd like to share some of the shots I got over the next few posts, and I'll try to keep them in sequential order.
Post #10 - Continuing on through the Beaufort Sea off of the Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula, with a man overboard training drill thrown in for good measure
Spent the day in Balboa park today. Lots of great things to photograph. I saw tis Muslim man in some amazing light so asked to take a picture. he was so kind and gentle. I really enjoyed photgraphing him. This is the first one I processed. I kept it color this time.

Wonderful portrait and good choice of leaving it color. Love all the warm tones with just the splash of blue. Well done!!!!

Post #11 - Nav Aid Maintenance on Seven Mile Island, Nunavut. Was surprised to find the remains of a dogsled out there!

Yes, I Really liked the color palette in this image which is why I left it in color. I worked hard to position him in old World Rembrandt natural lighting. I got pretty close.
