The draw is pretty much identical at any distance (Leica 35/1.4 pre-asph vs CV 35/1.4 SC).
It's like shooting with the same lens.

The difference is the amount of SA correction between them where the Leica is noticeably lower in contrast and yields a much stronger glow. That's what's unique about the Leica compared to the Voigtlander. I tried lowering global clarity/contrast in post and but the Leica still has a unique look.

Walk-around this morning testing a newly acquired lens. (50/1 Noct v4)

All wide open @F1 with minimal processing using the Leica M10-R color profile in LR.

@ f/5.6 it yields defined sunstars

M10-R color profile or Cobalt B&W profile.

PS: My wife's favorite lens! she hates sharp lenses.
Also I told her it's from the 80's...she is glad I'm buying cheaper lenses now.

Proud dad. ;-) ...RF pre-focused for my wife. lol

Really testing distortion here. Almost none!

A shot of the sidewalk near my house in Columbus OH. I love the old brick sidewalks in parts of this neighborhood.

Not the EXIF is wrong this is shot with the Voigtlander 28 f/2 II and I believe was f/4

I wonder if adding a BPM 1/4 or 1/2 filter would get the CV closer. Will be trying out the 1/4 on my CV 50 APO.
