And 100% crop to show how spectacular this lens is on film - the cheapest colour film sold even!
I have been wowed by modern Leica glass, but man I should keep the DR permanently attached to this M3
I haven't shot film since the early 90's, but seeing yourself and others posting some very nice film images I find myself looking at film cameras.... Aarrgghh....

You can get into film super cheap with something like a Nikon F80 + 28-80 lens for about $60. It basically was a pro level camera, and frankly is awesome.
Or at the other end of the 35mm spectrum... you already have a Leica M240 w lenses, and can get a Leica M film that works seamlessly with them...
And a million other variations of the above theme! And that's just 35mm, not even talking about other formats!
My new Noctilux 1.2 reissue on M10-R. I like this lens so far - much easier to use than my 0.95. It’s much smaller and lighter, plus the focus throw is somehow more convenient…

I think the Olympus Pen-F half frame cameras could be fun to shoot with.. Camera Quest has a Voigtlander Bessa L TTL 35mm LTM Film Camera which is a blind shooting camera and pickup a cheap/wide LTM lens for it.. Going to keep looking into it.

The Oly Pen FT is awesome. I use one - nothing else like it - feels like a cross between an SLR and a Leica M, with incredible lenses. Highly recommended.
Recently taken with it (please excuse me for posting a non Leica pic, but if Leica made a 1/2 frame, this would be it!)
I had two brand new Bessa Ls. The first one broke one roll in. The plastic gears in the film advance mech just sheared. My second one held up ok, but the body covering is really soft rubber that wears immediately, and the finish of the rest of the body is really fragile too. I sold mine off recently as I could just see it failing soon. So not recommended..
I do have a sweet Leica Md-A - which is a far superior version of the Bessa. Based on the Leica M4, but with no VF. Very very nice to use. But pricier even though I may be selling mine cuz too many cameras.. Also use a Leica 1F, which is the LTM version. Very pretty camera..
Today I used a digital camera. It was a simple process. Shoot pic, upload into computer. Look at it in wonderment and awe. Being used to shooting film I was unaccustomed to all this spare time left over.
