Here's something different (and not quite on topic but it did originally come from a Leica): a journey from pixels to threads and back to pixels again.
About 15 years ago, my partner Claire shot this photo of a Beacon Hill (Boston) brownstone on a Leica C-Lux 1 (a Leica-branded Panasonic point-and-shoot camera, not exactly one of Leica's best ideas). She then used software to generate a cross-stitch pattern for it; the software specifies the thread color for each stitch. It took her more than 10 years to complete it on linen and she finally finished a couple of weeks ago. I took a digital photo of it today so now it's back to pixels.

Thanks very much. I agree that Monochrom images have a distinctive look. Like you, I scroll up from the bottom of the page and can often pick them out before seeing what camera was used.
