The original full resolution accessible in C1 is 9026x5720. The cropped image is 976x652. So that is what, around 10% of the original frame. No scaling on the cropped version.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I have the same love for the Q2M. The ability to crop aggressively is amazing, which is why its 28mm lens can function like a 28-75mm zoom, if not longer. Add to that the Q2M's great low light capability, fantastic tonality and seemingly infinite shadow detail, and you have a very versatile camera. I'm sure that the M10M has all the same benefits plus the ability to change lenses, but I have never gotten along well with rangefinders. I used MF lenses exclusively on an SL for several years but eventually realized that I had reached the age of preferring/requiring autofocus. The Q2 and Q2M are close to perfect for me.
