The Contax G35 is an underrated lens in the Contax G lens lineup in the film days. I believe it was released to directly compete with the Leica Simmicron 35 IV at the time as they shared very similar optical formula. In my own user experience, I find G35 has a bit more saturate color and micro contrast. Your images here also suggest that. I hope to use my copy of the converted G35 more ofter.

I agree... It's only shortcoming I have found is the distortion. However the few images I have shot with it seem to have the Zeiss pop & colour for sure.
