I am really into the painterly look provided by the Voigtlander 75/1.5 Nokton M-mount lens. Decided today to take a couple of shots with this lens and my Leica M3 in a local park. I used Fujicolor Super HQ 200 film and shot at f/1.5 to f/2.8 with 3-stop ND filter. Developed the film later myself with the C-41 process and scanned the negatives with Plustek 8200 Ai scanner.

Well, this car was not the winner, but he was definitely driving very well. I expected him to make the Championship Round. Unfortunately, he had a mechanical malfunction that left him just short of the podium.
The malfunction ... the handle on his hand brake, broke. Took a five minute timeout, and tried to make the repair. Back on the track, for the second run (chase position). Handle gave out on him in Turn 2, and he was into the wall (not hurt) ... done.

Nice! Excellent shots, development & digital conversion. The VM 75/1.5 is a special lens... I'd still have it if I didn't get a deal locally on the 75/2.4 Summarit.

That's good news to hear. I've got the VM 75/1.5 on its way ... and, already thinking ahead to the 75/2.4 Summarit (patiently till then).

Congrats! I think you'll like it, it's a performer!! The Summarit, while also fantastic, doesn't really offer a whole bunch more in the way of IQ, is of course slower & more expensive, but is much smaller & I prefer the ergos.
