Been smitten with a new Fuji X100V, fun camera, but time to dust off the M8.2.
These from a tropical bird rescue organization - eclectic set.
Last time I visited, more than several years ago, the grounds and aviaries were more accessible and photo-friendly; still, other "features" to capture today. For a volunteer organization I'm confident they are doing the best they can given circumstances, the care and well-being of birds foremost in mind.
Our grandchildren tentatively took advantage of the opportunity to scratch the tortoise's head - one of his favorite things. He actually closed his eyes while being scratched.

I am still very much an outsider at this event. I married into it. My wife's father was a judge at this event for over 30 years. He was an engineer and loved cars and tinkering and was exceptionally good at restoring old cars to their original and really even enhanced condition. It was his hobby when younger but became his advocation. I came to appreciate the rigor, research, and artistry that goes into restoring these vehicles and they are quite beautiful when presented. Some owners have very deep pockets and hire the work done--and restoring these vehicles can be an interesting and pretty well paying career. Other owners like my father-in-law, don't have much money but do the restorations over time and by making a huge number of things themselves. The place does seems otherworldly when you are there, but like many such things there is a lot of very interesting hard work behind the scenes.

Sure! Pretty much nothing apart from convert it in negativelabpro.com. I set the white balance using the eye dropper in LightRoom on a piece of unexposed film. Basic digicam film scanning stuff.
The Wtulens loves bright light, and all that vignetting and saturation is from the lens. It works especially well with that light behind you, then everything really pops.
p.s. this lens does not play well with FF digital. Unless you want severe colour smearing.
