Dang. All these winter photos are crazy. We, once again, didn't really get a winter season in California. It's been between warm and stunningly hot while you guys have been getting iced out. Honestly I'd happily trade.
I'm enjoying your SL pictures Edward. How are you liking it? I had a chance to play with one for an hour today with some alt lenses. Compared the IQ with my A7ii and I was stunned how much better the SL seemed. Now I'm tempted again

Thank you very much Cal
Since you own an A7 II, you should feel at home with the SL and RF lenses. The SL is just a fantastic body and a pleasure to use. I'm not sure how they compare in terms of IQ, but I really love the ergonomics and the speed, not to mention the EVF! The SL works much better with RF lenses, almost like an M, and with some lenses, even better than an M. All things considered, I prefer the SL to the M in most but not all instances as I still have a sentimental attachment to rangefinders.

Catching up on pages of shots after only a week or two absence, great stuff. Ice storms look amazing, way out of my zone of experience, I didn't emigrate to Australia for the snow after all
Ski championships looked a real buzz, as does the SL(!), and I seem to bust a nut trying to produce just one shot in the zone of the many you push out Allen, amazing stuff with the MM, I enjoy them all.
Been a bit lazy pushing scans through PP with film, so only a few 'nice light' M9 shots from work/mall to share right now.
I feel there is a connection in a way. Two of my college professors received their MFA/s from RISD where both he and Callahan were teaching at the time so through them I got a huge dose of Siskind&Callahan and because of one of those professors I got to meet Callahan in the mid 1980s. He and Harry remained friends. In fact he has several original Callahans.
