Was recently in the land of Leica. I think Leica rendering is well matched to gloomy German urban winters.
And I will be very disappointed if/when the terrible 1970s color schemes are eventually renovated out of existence in older parts of the Munich subway system. It really seems to set a mood that I find difficult to verbalize, of being momentarily transported to previous era.

it's very weird to see burns in the news lately and your photos bring back some memories. i worked doing geological surveying in the high desert (kinda) near there for a summer in high school. on the weekends we'd go to burns for supplies and to malheur for a shower. prior to this late unpleasantness i'd rarely met anyone who had ever heard of the place.
Great and fun set Canerino, I can relate to the joy of getting that same lens. I first had a copy about 11 years ago, and I always regretted selling out. Finally was able to buy another one around Christmas last year and it's easily my most used lens. I keep wondering if I even need the rest of my lenses

TY for all comments on Burns images From a distance the issue can seem quite black and white, but as you get closer the complexities start to appear. For example, the occupation has been an economic plus, and filled many motel rooms and sold alot of groceries, bought by the militia types, the news types, and the law types
A single person has been killed. After watching numerous videos of inner city citizens shot by police in the past few years, that person's actions in Chicago would certainly have drawn fire.
I don't own a gun, and I have no plans to buy one
