A couple more. I also shot the image on the slide behind the group. I have not had any time to shoot for myself lately only stuff for clients. I know not all that exciting but it pays the mortgage.
Really cool shots Allen. The first one has me feeling like he is some sort of stalker or something. The pattern on the umbrella and her dress links them together in some bizarre way...
Guys, anyone knows how to adjust the lens cam? I have one of my lenses that is slightly out of calibration. I know for a fact it's not the camera, and it's not the lens helicoid, so it must be the cam. Now how can I adjust it myself, because I know it's a very easy procedure not worth sending the lens away.
Hey Edward. I have not heard any details on adjustment of lens cams. However, my Nikkor lens is back focusing a bit and my plan is to build up the cam slightly with copper electrical tape (with adhesive on the back of the tape) to fix the problem. People on LUF have done this apparently with good results.... Keep us posted on how you resolve the issue.
Thank you Gary! My lens is very slightly back focusing too. It is important to check whether it is the lens collimation or the cam. In my case the lens focuses correctly at infinity at the infinity hard stop but the RF patch doesn't align yet. The same behavior occurs at all distances. If you shim the lens you basically change the flange distance which won't work in my case as the lens focuses correctly but the coupling is incorrect.
