Spent the day the Grand Ise shrine the other day, and took only one lens with me, the CV 50/1.5 Nokton ASPH(The new one) on the M240, surprised at just how well that combination works.
It's funny how when you send your only camera body away for service, you suddenly book more sessions than ever. And I usually say NO to 90% of inquiries anyway! Sheesh, I hope she comes back soon, or I WILL HAVE TO buy another M body!

I'm pretty excited about it, and have found some new shooters to follow on Flickr who are making some very interesting images with the lens. I better get a 3 stop filter for daylight 1.1 with M9. Anyone know affordable but good source for these?

I wound up getting a little Color-Skopar 21mm (not a bad lens on its own but definitely not as nice as the ZM25) and a Nokton 50mm f/1.1. They'll both serve a specific purpose and will augment my main 35/50 combo (Feels funny to have 2 50s, but in my head it made sense when I planned it all out.)

Love the colors Abram, did you use a Vsco preset for this? If you did which one. I have 1 through 5 vsco, haven't tried 6 yet. I actually hardly use vsco, and if I did, I tend to tone them down a bit in the color and grain department.
I've been trying to work on my colors/WB for the longest time, that's why I use my MM most of the time
I did use VSCO yes, I often do for color work, even B&W. I know it's trendy, but I typically like the tones / colors I can get with the presets + some adjusting.
This was from Pack 6 and it was the Fuji 400H emulation, I started with the 400H+1+ preset and then did a couple small adjustments. Pack 1 is my go-to for most things, seems to be the most flexible, 2 works well under certain lighting situations, 3 I only use when I intentionally want to attain that look, 4 I've used for super punchy landscapes (not often, I usually have to tone it down), 5 I find works really nicely in artificial light or under cloud cover, and 6 I'm still figuring out.

Looks like your CV50 is well calibrated I love the lens and use it often. Very good stopped down also. At 21 I think the best value is the Biogon 21/2.8. I also have the 21/4, and see how yours is, a few will let the corners come in around f/11, but many seem to be de centered. I ended up with a SEM21, but I nearly bought the ZM.

Yeah I did some quick tests, the 21/4 is real sharp in the center, but I think it might be slightly decentered, as the right side looks slightly better than the left. The corners look ok around f/11 but I figured I'd be shooting between 5.6-8 most of the time. Frankly I can't say I'm disappointed, but I've seen at least a couple examples that showed pretty decent corners at 5.6.
The 50mm works well at 1.1-1.4 (only apertures I've used it at so far) but to be honest that's really the only apertures I want to use it at. Reason being is that for good light I'll be using the Planar when I want a 50mm to pair with my Ricoh GR.
