the good budget lenses, imo, and considering size, are the 24/2.8, 28/3.5, made in japan 50/1.8, silvernose 50/1.4, very high serial number 50/1.4, 50/3.5 macro and 100/2.8.
Out of curiosity, the 28/2.8 supercede the 28/3.5.Why do you reccommed the 28/3.5 and not the 28/2.8? due to the lack of MC?

well out of the handful I tried of both I just felt the 3.5 was a little bit better plus it's half the price if such things matter to you.
tbh I like the 35/2.8 but prices on that, at least keh's where you see some actual consistency, are a bit high imo. I do find that I use 28 or 50 more though.

this might be the best handling of color I've ever seen out of a digital camera. in fact, I like everything about this shot quite a bit.
out of curiosity, anyone shot with the 250/2 or the 350/2.8? I have heard the story about NASA rating the 250/2 as being the sharpest 35mm lens available at the time, but it just astonishes me the prices they list for.
Beautiful OM-images in this thread, which is gaining popularity.
