does yours have the semi circle notch? it seems their old design had a notched rectangular design (thats the one i need) i could not get mine to lock. even worse when i tried to remove the lense from the camera, the adapter would stay while the lense came off.

not sure if I'm going to keep it. depends on if I end up with a nikon RF or not.
Mine is pretty much sharp across. All on my FF. My last picture is open. It just takes some getting used to.
I had another copy and same thing- I just unloaded it when I decided I had too much glass I never used but then later when I saw another one I couldn't resist. It is a fun lens and I plan to put it to much use when I do get the time.
