You Leica folks have gotten to me (especially that pesky denoir fellow! ) -- first Zeiss glass, and now I'm considering my first Leica lens to mount on Canon EOS bodies.
The lens in question is an "R" 60mm Macro that has had the ROM contacts added. I expect it is not the older Frankenstein lug hood mount, but not positive. I've bought a B+W Kasemann CPL from this seller before, so I know he is honest and collects great gear. Does $580 sound like a good price?
Anything else anyone can tell me about their experiences with the lens and how it might compare to the 50/2 'Cron, or even the Zeiss Contax 50/1.4 that I'm loving at the moment for panos?

+1 for the shuttle bus option. I was there last Wednesday and the crowds were very slim. Walked to the reservation counter at 10.45 am and got on a bus at 11 am.

An overlook of the Alaska Range some 90 miles west of Paxson, AK over the Denali Highway, looking NNW. The white reflective spots are lakes, and those "small" stubs on the lower third are tall spruce / pine (?).
