I prefer this version over the Apo-Telyt-R 1:3.4/180 & the Apo-Elmarit-R 1:2.8/180 because of the Walter Mandler rendering, close to Summilux-R 1:1.4/80, in spite of CA in some situations.
Its a beast, front heavy and super fast. You can hand hold it, as I did for this picture. The lens is a true APO design with almost no lateral and longitudinal CA. No real post processing on this.

The more I use the Lumix S1, the more I appreciate it. Ist 24Mp is far enough for my use. When I switched from Canon EOS 6D to Pentax K-1, I liked the 50% more pixels, the tonal gradation, IBIS and managing in high Isos. With the 24Mp of Lumix S1, it does not even seem to be a stumbling block. So I'm very pleased. The high Isos are astonishing. I do not worry about the skills of this camera any more but only to take good pictures very soon.
The leica Apo-Macro-R 1:2.8/100mm seems transcended.
