Looking from the Egg Rock Overlook at Egg Rock, Egg Rock Light (and appurtenant buildings and structures) and the Maine mainland. Egg Rock Lighthouse which is outside of Acadia NP, is about 2 miles from Mount Desert Island and sits at the mouth of Frenchman Bay.

At Egg Rock Overlook, Mount Desert Island, Acadia NP, Maine.
Rich, fantastic photo. Can you say where your focus point is? I know you usually do 1/3 above bottom. Just want to confirm since this lens is spectacular at infinity. Thank you.

Thank you. At this point, I am not sure, I may have just set the lens to infinity and shot the image and let f8 cover the focus for depth of field. Either that or I may have just focused on the Light and the island which should be at infinity at 2 miles away.
