I brought my wife and two sons to Heron Island, Queensland in Australia last week when we encountered over 15 large turtles coming up the beach to lay eggs.
The sun had fully set and the only light course was the moon. I had no tripods and could not even move too much to disturb the lady turtles. All I could do was to hand-hold my a7+lux 80, and take some photos.
They are not sharp photos at all, but I just love them
The ISO was 6400, and my hands kind of survived the 1/4 seconds. What amazed me was the colour - how can the lens and camera capture those colours?! Again, there was no light at all but the moon.
