Photo cross posted in the Sony FE Image Thread and taken at 12:02 PM, June 30, 2015 of Otter Cove near high tide, Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park, Maine. Image taken with my tripod mounted Sony A7r and my Leica R 28mm f2.8 Elmarit V2 lens, ISO 100, lens set to probably f11 for 1/60 second. I believe that I also used my Singh-Ray Lighter Brighter Color Combo Polarizer (Warm Polarizer with Color Intensifier) for this image. Processed in LR6.
Vario-Elmar-R 21-35, at 35mm and f/4.1 (wide open). To me, this image illustrates the mixed character of this lens family (21-35, 35-70/4, and presumably the MATE), with high global contrast from a modern design but a bit of flare around the lights that brings in a bit of the look of a classic lens.

Coming back to Leica after long break is a very special experience.I always feel struck by how pure and deep are Leica colours. No other manufacturer is able to match that rendition.
This year's Christmas is the warmest I remember - 15 deg Celsius.
I took a stroll around the Old Market yesterday in a hope of taking a few innitial pictures with my newly acquired Leica Rs,but manage to use only 3.
