Are you flying up, or driving? I would love to meet, but this is my wife's weekend to work!
So I'll be hanging with my boys!
If your driving north, then I thought we could meet! Btw, love the couple shot above! And I love the A7/50 Lux combo even more. What fantastic images!!

Gregg -- I'll be driving up with the family. The plan is still sketchy at the moment but if you're available on Saturday (tomorrow) we could meet somewhere in Stanford University between 2 - 6 pm. I'll PM you with details later tonight. Regarding the adapter, I use Metabones R to e mount. I post links to the adapter on one of my previous post to you. BTW, the close up portrait shot of Gio is fantastic.. wb is spot on.
Manu -- Thanks for the comments. Your fantastic shots of the Stanford Memorial Church is one of the reasons for my visit to the Palo Alto area.
joakim -- Welcome aboard if you're posting this the first time here. Do continue to share.
mmacro -- Nice captures during the "golden" hour.
LtZ -- Nice shot of the Basilica.
Carsten -- Thanks for sharing the video. I'll have to watch it again another time to see count how many traffic violations were committed.
Greg, If you are used to DSLR with Leica R, expect same thing with A7, you will be disappointed. At least that is my impression. I did a quick review either in this R thread or A7 discuss thread. I stand by my conclusion for the slightly delay of EVF. it screw up my judging focus feedback system. I miss shots...
Rent it or buy from somewhere with good return policy. Or your priority is small adaptive system other than usability.
The reason I said this to you instead of Jack is I know you guys shooting style. you have two boys need to catch
Thanks very much for your input, Michael. I still want one(actually bought one today from the BS board)...I'll try my kids, but I would like something smaller than my 1D4 to lug around!! And the image quality is a little better(?!) than my 1D4, too. But Kokusai's images with it and the Lux 50 blow me away!!!

Leica R 19 v1 arrived today. Took it for a casual test drive on full frame. Not a bad lens, but not blown away yet either. On the plus side it retains the Leica look, on the minus corners can get very smeary and its not the sharpest crayon in the box. Here's one I pulled the exposure on.
