Jon Tainton - Your pictures look like dreaming and nice shot, Thank you so much.
Gregg, is that the very latest 50 Lux R? Thanks!
Unfortunately not. I wish!! It's the E55...but it's still my fav 50 ever. And I've gone through most of the 50's, minus the Oly, and a few other! Very good close focus, and becomes stupid sharp when stopped down! Great skin colors, too.
LtZ...love that shot above! I think your standard BW would great, as always, but I really like the color, because of the lamp!

And then some of Mason while he was testing for his next level in Tae Kwon Doe.
90 Cron all wide open. This lens has some incredible 3D, and POP!!

Gregg, which version of Summicron-R 90 did you get; is it ASPH or Mandler's ?
The 90 shows awfully shallow DoF. The upside-down crystals layers show how shallow it is. Perfect!
Hi Jack,
I have an older version, serial number 250xxxx that I got from Flyingpalm...I would love the APO! I hear it's an incredible lens! So far I'm happy with the older one...haven't really put it through the paces yet. I'm shocked at its 3D qualities, though! On my iPhone, the above pics of Mason seem like they are literally floating on the screen!! The bokeh seems pretty nice, too!
Not as nice as the bokeh from the 80 Lux shots, above, though!! Very nice portrait, and really like the bar scene, too. Was it date night? And your wife lets you take pics of her??

Looking at pictures from that summilux and 90 summicron isn't going to be very healthy for my wallet. I almost purchased a summilux couple months ago.. The bokeh is just gorgeous and so much character is the way it draws. The Mandler cron 90 has this lovely rendering too. Oh man !
Looking fwd to more of seeing your work with the 90cron Gregg.
Getting to know the 90 Cron a bit more. MFD shots aren't it's strong point...but more mid distance, is! A bunch from today...As Jack said earlier on last page, it has incredibly shallow DoF, with LOTS of POP and 3D! Awesome lens! All shots from 90 Cron..
Thanks for looking,
Gregg
I think f4
Wide open
close to MFD,..not stellar, but ok, but the bokeh is to DIE for!!
