Does anybody have full size samples of 60mm Macro-Elmarit-R on D800/D800E/A7R, please? I am unable to find them. Also, are there different versions of this lens?

John, the grain does add to the atmosphere in that image and impressive HH technique in dim light.

Very nice shots Saph. I can almost feel how sharp the needles are on the cactus!! I like the lines in the LoC shot, too.

Took the 50 Lux to work today...Really, Really, Really like this lens. all wide open except for the trees pic.

Here are some images taken last evening (and cross posted in the Sony A7r thread) with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica R 50mm f2 Summicron lens. Images taken just before sunset from the Environmental Center of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA. Images shot at f8 or f11 for DOF and processed in LR5.3.

Optically there is only one version. The variations are metering cams (matters only when using on a Leica-R camera) and filter size, either E60/Series VIII (older) or E55 (newer).

Xenon99....great first shot! With the 50 E60, too! That lens must be a beast on the A7? Going to rent an A7 from Roger in the next month, and can't wait to try my 50 Lux E55 on it!!
Worldinlens...is the optical formula very different from the E55 to the E60 Lux?? That shot above, and yours with the E60 are quite stunning!
